Your own API

Pro accounts can create a key and send files to the same tools as the website. Processing stays on your FileNest server. The key is a bearer token, shown once.

Tool slugs match the site: merge-pdf, split-pdf, compress-pdf, pdf-to-word, word-to-pdf, pdf-to-jpg, image-to-pdf, rotate-pdf, watermark-pdf, protect-pdf, unlock-pdf, organize-pdf.

Send repeated files fields for a merge, an image PDF, or a Pro batch. Options use the same field names as the tool page. A successful response is the file itself, with Content-Disposition set. Errors are JSON.

Unlock accepts a password you already know. It does not guess one. Requests are rate limited, and only two heavy jobs run at once unless you raise MAX_CONCURRENT_JOBS.

Create a key after you are on Pro.
