Terms of Service

By using FileNest you agree to these terms. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

The service

FileNest provides PDF and image tools. Results are provided as-is. Basic Word conversion extracts text and does not recreate complex layout. Always check the output before you rely on it.

Acceptable use

Upload only files you have the right to process. Unlock PDF is for passwords you already know. Guessing, cracking, or bypassing encryption you are not authorized to remove is forbidden. Do not abuse rate limits, probe other users’ downloads, or upload malware.

Accounts and Pro

Free limits may change if the shared server is abused. Pro is a subscription through Stripe or a prepaid Bitcoin period after manual confirmation. Bitcoin is not instant. We may suspend processing during maintenance.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, FileNest is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss arising from a file you chose to process. Our aggregate liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim, or €50 if you paid nothing.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after a posted change means you accept the new terms. Governing law: the courts of the operator’s place of establishment, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where you live.
